LONG STORY SHORT
Tatiana Kligerman was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She received her Bachelor degree in Graphic & Product Design from Esdi / UERJ (Rio de Janeiro State University), a prestigious Brazilian undergraduate course in the Design field.
In her graduation year, while working as an intern at a research institute, Tatiana was introduced to hypertext and web design. Hooked from day one, it didn’t take her long to realize that she could actually make a carreer out of it. Commercial internet was not even live yet (the year was 1994), but that didn’t stop her from being one of the very first Brazilians to ever design a web page. Soon freelance requests started kicking in, followed closely by invites for seminars, events as a speaker and newspaper/magazine interviews.
Along with recognition for the great work came awards, as well as requests for larger and more sophisticated projects. Tatiana then moved to São Paulo, the financial heart of Brazil, where she established her company and brand. Under LivingPIX, she led aprox 80 projects over the course of 3 years, a valued contribution that intersects with the history of the commercial internet in Brazil. E-commerce, Automotive and Banking are just a few examples of the industries that contributed to the rich diversity of her portfolio.
Three years later, Tatiana decided to accept an offer to join the newly created AgenciaClick/Isobar’s dream team. The move was not only her first step into digital advertising (followed later by JWT and DRAFTFCB), but the starting point of her shift into Strategy and UX/UI.
While at AgenciaClick, Tatiana was awarded a golden pencil from the London International Awards, and starred the Cannes shortlist.
With a strong and reliable reputation in the Digital Strategy and Customer Experience fields built over the years, in 2007 Tatiana took a step into a more flexible schedule working as a consultant, which allowed her more time to dedicate to her growing family. With Klue, she fully positioned herself as a digital guru, supporting both agencies and companies in Brazil and in the US. Even after the move to New York City in 2012, she kept providing remote guidance to her partners and clients.
By the end of 2013, with eligibility to apply for the EB-1 (a special Visa for ‘Extraordinary Abilities’), Tatiana submitted a petition and quickly received approval, shortly followed by her green card.
A couple of months later the opportunity at AVON came up, and she gladly accepted the invite to join as their Associate Creative Director UX/UI Strategy & Design. In her role, she is instrumental helping the company improve the experience provided to the Sales Representative.
